In this course, students will be doing fun and exciting art and craft projects. The theme of this course is "Around the World", which means we will learn about 6 continents of our amazing planet. We will visit different countries and together we will create beautiful artworks inspired by these countries' unique culture. Day 1 - AUSTRALIA. Cute koala drawing. Great Barrier Reef collage. Day 2 - AFRICA. African masks. Watercolor African safari. Day 3 - EUROPE. C. Monet water lilies sponge painting. P. Picasso Self-portrait. Day 4 - NORTH AMERICA. Wild West modeling clay finger painting. Cactus in a pot pointillism. Day 5 - SOUTH AMERICA. Fluffy llama drawing. Toucan pom poms collage. Day 6 - ASIA. Kawaii sushi pattern, panda potato stamps. I am planning to do two art projects a day, around 25 min for each project. This will depend on the students' pace, some little artists may need a few more minutes outside of the class to finish their projects. Note: Please see the supply list below! I will remind you about the upcoming class and the supply list your child will be needing in advance. My main principle - there are no mistakes and wrong decisions in the creative process! Everyone, even the smallest artist, has his own path. In my classes, I will not ask students to mindlessly repeat after me. I will show them step by step example so students can see different options, and will be able to bring their personal touches and ideas into their artwork.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their knowledge of geography by learning about different continents, countries, and cultures.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Master's Degree from Tyumen State University
My name is Elena Galindo, and I am a children's book illustrator specializing in creating fun and whimsical digital illustrations in a playful and adorable style. I am excited to introduce myself and share a little bit about me with you.
I have been creating illustrations that bring stories to life with lively characters, cute and cheeky animals, and colorful landscapes. Children are my favorite audience, as they inspire and motivate me to create illustrations that can spark their imagination and ignite their curiosity.
In addition to creating illustrations, I also teach digital art to children. This has given me valuable insight into what children are interested in and what captures their attention. I am always looking for new ways to engage children with my illustrations
I have a bachelor’s and master's degree in Human Resources with a large portion being focused on training and development. I have also taken several art courses in painting techniques. Additionally, as a mother of two, I enjoy teaching my kids about art and languages. I show them the importance of cultural diversity and multicultural integration.
My philosophy is that everyone has the potential to be great. The importance is to guide students with fun and interactive courses to keep their focus on the task at hand.
I would love to be your paintbrush buddy and I hope to see you in my classes. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and I will be happy to help.
