Learners will explore five countries of the world in a relaxed way, while learning and practicing making thick and thin lines, crosshatching, graduated tone, paint resist, detailing, blending, highlighting, reductive drawing, scumbling, wet-on-wet, and impasto, among other techniques, while using charcoal, pastels, drawing pencils, pens, markers, watercolour, tempera, and oil paints.
Each learner should complete their artwork in their own time. (Times will vary.)
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
