Description
Class Experience
This fine art class is about more than just painting. Art education helps promote creativity, self-expression, and concentration. Each week a new fine artist is featured and discussed. Students will learn about what makes each artist unique and how their experiences impact their art. We will take elements from famous works of art from around the world and implement them in our own mediums. Classes will begin with an overview of the learning goal, a presentation about the featured artist, ...
Students will learn about types of brush strokes, paint application, art movements, and color mixing.
I have been a public school teacher for over 16 years, and I have always had a love of art. I studied fine art in Spain, Italy, and France as a college student. I also have experience with instructing art students, and have taught art classes on Outschool for two years.
Learners are encouraged to complete their paintings if they need more time after class.
Acrylic Paint (any brand) Canvas or Canvas Paper (8x10) Acrylic brush set with fan brush (any brand) Palette or paper plate
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I will screenshare my presentation. No outside programs are needed.
