Around the World Preschool Ongoing Camp
Class experience
In this Ongoing Camp we will meet, Monday through Friday for 45 minutes. Each week we will cover one to two countries. This is an introduction class meant for young learners who want to explore the world. For each country we will explore them through culture, crafts/art, food, music, geography, animals, language and much more. Students will learn about other countries around the world, broadening their knowledge of other culture and geography, that is geared for younger learners.
This curriculum was developed by certified teachers that have traveled to many different countries, using their hands on experience to bring to the class.
There will be weekly worksheets or crafts that will be updated weekly: Will need a printer or the ability to print worksheets or craft sheets weekly. Students may need scissors, glue, crayons or colored pencils or markers (whatever you like to color with), Play-Doh OR Soft Molding Clay.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students might need to use scissors, glue, or play dough for some classes. Scissors and glue should be used with parental supervision. Play-Doh contains gluten and should not be eaten, if your child has a gluten allergy/sensitivity please use gluten-free play dough or soft molding clay. Students should have a safe space to move around if they would like to dance to some of the traditional music. Students should have water available. Students should have a clear space to do worksheets or crafts depending on the day/week.
