Description

Class Experience

Students will improve their understanding of the possibilities of color, and learn to create rich and colorful artworks even if their art supplies have a limited assortment.
To finish drawings or paintings, if they didn't finish them in class, and share them next day.
Students will need watercolor or colored pencils for this class. If using watercolor, please make sure you have heavier paper that won't get soggy from painting. For colored pencils, any plain white paper is fine. If painting, please bring a container with water, one or more brushes (assorted sizes), and a paper towel. A painting palette for mixing is not required, but may be used. Everyone will also need a pencil and an eraser for sketching their ideas before they apply color. I also encourage having some practice paper on hand in each class in order to try out colors if needed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will be checking throughout the class to see if students understand the concepts and are following instructions. I will be asking them to take turns holding up their artwork to see how they are doing.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
