In this class, we will travel to different counties and cities as tourists. In doing so, we will explore places you can visit, a bit of their native language, what foods they eat, etc. This is a great opportunity for your student to be a virtual tourist in a different setting than which they live and allow them to open their minds to different types of living and surviving. However, this class will not deal with bigger concepts like race and religious affiliations. Rather, this class will focus on all the fun parts of the city/country and what you could explore if you visited. The schedule will proceed as follows: August 26: France September 2: China September 9: Africa September 16: Australia September 23: New York City September 30: Russia October 7: Italy October 14: Brazil October 21: Hawaii October 28: Singapore November 4: South Korea November 11: Canada November 18: Greece December 2: Japan December 9: Mexico I am willing to research special requests of a country or city, too. This class will primarily be lecture-based but I plan to incorporate lots of discussion and conversation to spark interest in these different countries and cities and engage the students more effectively. No required experience or knowledge is needed in order to participate. This class is for beginner, intermediate, and advanced travelers.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I LOVE to travel! As an aspiring opera singer, my singing has taken me around lots of the country and some of the world. I have learned many languages through my studies and would love to implement them in my travels some day soon. Until then, I enjoy researching what I can do in my “bucket list” cities/countries of travel.
