Description
Class Experience
In this 3-week class, learners will participate in fun and engaging scavenger hunts as they practice their social skills, meet new friends, use their listening skills, and get moving! Students will use simple clues (ex. "Find a snack you like to eat") to find a variety of objects around their homes. The class will be broken down as follows: 1. Introductions and rules of the game (I will review the rules each week to ensure student safety.) 2. Scavenger hunt and clean-up 3. Final thoughts...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class involves physical activity and frequent movement; as a result, please ensure that your child remains hydrated throughout the duration of the class, has the proper footwear needed to complete the activity, and has an open space to move about the house. Please know that I will encourage students to avoid running, but because of the virtual nature of this class, I cannot ensure that learners are heeding this rule. As a result, I highly encourage parents to speak with their child before class about this rule and/or monitor the student during class. Thank you for your participation in this area!
