Students will start with the timeline of Aristotle's life and the background of the era he lived in. We will discuss the obstacles that he overcame and the new ideas that he introduced. What beliefs of his are still proven true today? What beliefs of his were inaccurate and why? We'll examine the legacy that he left for us as humans in a modern age. The majority of the class will be lecture with a presentation. No previous knowledge of Aristotle is necessary for this class. I encourage student questions and discussion. Students who ask questions are engaged learners.

Students will analyze Aristotle's life to determine his legacy.
