In this class, we will be analyzing the aspects of argumentative writing. First we will look at how to analyze and evaluate arguments while learning the basics that are involved with this form of writing. After establishing a baseline of understanding, we will learn some useful strategies to use in the brainstorming, drafting, and essay writing processes while also covering MLA formatting expectations. This course is unique because students will be able to use choice with the topic they want to research and discuss. I will be providing feedback throughout the process as students complete assignments. Each lesson there will be a video to guide students through the assignments and information provided, as well as the assignment expectations. My teaching style is very inclusive. I want to be the best support and guide for your learner. I encourage students to choose topics that they are passionate about or simply just need additional help to support a current ELA Argumentative writing assignment. I will provide unbiased feedback, while also challenging them to grow as an individual. Students can interact with me as much as needed. I am also available to send additional support along with the provided material in the course. This course is made to be flexible for your learner and their needs.
