Other Details

Parental Guidance
Although severe reactions are rare, it is a good idea to test cosmetics in advance to ensure they do not cause allergic reaction.
Supply List
Students can learn a lot with whatever supplies are available to them. However, as with any art form, you may want to purchase some basic supplies to maximize student potential. You do not need to spend a lot! High quality cosmetics are available at any price. If you ever have questions or need product suggestions, please ask. Below are some suggestions to get you started.

Eyeshadow
A colorful eyeshadow palette with a variety of finishes is ideal. If a student does not already have one, I highly recommend palettes from BH Cosmetics, ColourPop, Juvia's Place, and Profusion. The E.L.F. Bite Size palettes are also a good option.

Eyeshadow Primer
Eyeshadow will work best over an eyeshadow primer. The Milani eyeshadow primer is a great option (available at Ulta or the drugstore). A concealer can also be used as an eyeshadow primer. E.L.F. Hydrating Camo Concealer in a shade slightly lighter than the student's skin tone would be a good option.

Brushes
Students will need a set of brushes for class. If a student does not already have brushes, I recommend a brush set from BH Cosmetics (available at Ulta or BH Cosmetics) or MODA (available on Amazon). I recommend, at a minimum, that students have a fluffy blending eyeshadow brush, a dense packing eyeshadow brush, a pencil or smudge brush, and a blush or highlighter brush.

Mascara
If a student does not own mascara and would like to try it, I recommend any non-waterproof mascara from Essence (available at Ulta). Waterproof mascara is much harder to remove.

Complexion Products
Students may want to learn to use bronzer, contour, blush, and/or highlighter. Some great budget options are CoverGirl Instant Cheekbones (available on Amazon) and E.L.F. Bite Size face duos. I also recommend ColourPop and Essence for affordably priced options. Foundation is not needed for class. If students want to try foundation, I recommend the ColourPop Pretty Fresh line or the Wet n Wild Photofocus Dewy.

Lips
Essence Shine Shine Shine lip gloss (available at Ulta) is fabulous, especially given the low price.
