In this on-going trivia class, students will compete in a friendly competition (using Kahoot) to see if they are the ultimate 'The Office' fan! Before beginning the class, I will make sure all the students are enrolled in Kahoot and understand how to use the app in order to play the game. We will do a couple of practice rounds before beginning the game! If your child loves 'The Office' and enjoys trivia, then this is the perfect class for them! The great part of this on-going class is that they can join each week and continue the trivia fun!
Learning Goals
Students will meet other 'The Office' fans and will engage in a friendly trivia competition using Kahoot.

I have over 15 years of teaching experience at the elementary, middle school and high school level. Currently, I teach English and Special Education to 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Additionally, I have been an online ESL teacher for the last 3 years, and have extensive experience with virtual instruction, organization, and classroom management.
In 2005, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University. I also have certifications in middle school English/Language Arts and Science (grades 6-8). My Master’s Degree, from Wayne State University, is in the area of Special Education, with a focus on students who have learning disabilities.
In my classes, students will learn one of more of the following skills: close reading, writing, analysis, discussion, critical thinking, and executive functioning. Emphasis will be made on individual student involvement, engagement, and excitement. I want your child to leave my class with knowledge in their brain and a smile on their face!
My family includes my husband, our elementary-aged daughter and our cute puppy named Finn! I am a former Walt Disney World Cast Member and a HUGE Disney enthusiast! I am an avid traveler and am always daydreaming and planning my next adventure. In my extra time, you can find me reading a book or binge-watching The Office!
Thank you and I look forward to having your child in class!
