In this one-time course, students will learn the fundamentals of the acoustic guitar, its mechanics, and at least two chords to practice before investing in my more serious beginner class, which meets six times in two weeks.
Class experience
In this one-time class, we will cover all the important parts of your acoustic guitar and how to play it. You will learn the mechanics of the instrument, the tools your will need to maintain it, and the proper techniques to play two basic chords that will start you on your way to becoming an accomplished musician. I have a Master of Educational Science and have been playing stringed instruments since childhood. I have offered private music lessons for the past 15 years, and I understand how to teach the motor skills necessary to learn the guitar.
