1 in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one-time class, we will cover all the important parts of your acoustic guitar and how to play it. You will learn the mechanics of the instrument, the tools your will need to maintain it, and the proper techniques to play two basic chords that will start you on your way to becoming an accomplished musician. In the full hour, we will spend at least 30 minutes discussing the guitar, how it works, and the amount of time, effort, and, energy you will need to invest in order to become a successful player. The remainder of class will be spent learning two relative chords that you can use to practice, play familiar songs, and create your own original music. You will need to know how to tune your guitar prior to class and be sure it is tuned properly when class starts. Have a pick for strumming and a tuner in case your strings slip out of tune. A metronome would also be helpful, but not necessary.
