In this 5-week course, Students will learn: Canva, create introduction and outro video! Week 1: Students will create a name for their YouTube channel! They will create a raw unclipped video of them introducing their new channel and what kind of content the channel will produce. ( it’s okay if it’s not perfect we will work on it later) Week 2: Students will learn to use Canva, a free creator editing app, to make unique YouTube Introduction and outro videos. This week students will get to be creative and bring it to life! Week 3: Students will learn to save All YouTube content in one place, and the Do’s and Don’ts to stay clear of any copyright infringement. They will make their YouTube Watermark subscribe button, YouTube Profile picture, and YouTube Wall Banner! Week 4: Students will learn: - what materials to use for recording, editing, uploading, sharing content as a YouTuber. - Recording: cameras, camera accessories - Editing: free editing download options, how to navigate adding a video clip, trimming a clip, adding audio clip, exporting video for YouTube! -Uploading: Add a poll, add video recommendations, and Upload their video Week 5: Students will learn different ways to grow their channel, look at the analytics! Class structure: one person talks at a time, I will call on them according to which I received their comments in the chat box as this is a student lead learning class! Teaching style: I will present and show them first, then I will let them present and have them show me to make sure they understand! Interaction: Students will interact with me majority of the time, they are allowed to interact with each other as well when needed. Students will need to know how to work a smart phone and computer
