Description
Class Experience
In this one-time class, your preschooler will listen to a story about the wonders of fall. We will start out with a small discussion about fall and what the students like about fall. Then, I will read the story, Pete the Cat Falling For Autumn and ask questions along the way. Real pictures will be shown as the story progresses. After, your learners will work together on recalling the events in the story. We will finish with making some leaf prints using real leaves and learn a fall song....
*The students will learn about the wonders of autumn while using good listening skills, taking turns answering questions and using recall to name the different activities you can do and share with others during the fall season. *The students will learn a fall song. *The students will complete a leaf art project and share with their friends.
I am an experienced elementary reading teacher and have a great love for children’s literature and being able to incorporate books into all subject areas. I want my students to be excited about reading and I feel that my passion comes thru in each story I tell!
*four or more leaves with raised lines on the back (They can be real leaves or fake leaves.) *crayons *white paper *an item to share that represents fall (leaf, football, pumpkin, apple, hay, etc.) I will show a picture of my son in a pile of leaves!
