Description

Class Experience

Getting a new puppy is a wonderful, but often stressful time. This class is designed to help learners prepare for their new role as owner to a pet! It is fun and interactive, but also teaches students that they need to take their new role very seriously. 

We will discuss what they can expect from their puppy, the good and the bad! Students will not only learn behaviors that help, or hurt, a puppy, but they will also learn why. No, you shouldn't leave your socks and shoes on the floor, but do...

50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

This class is not a dog training class. It is focused on teaching children to be responsible towards puppies, rather than teaching them to train their new pet. We will discuss why it is important to keep floors clean, how to gently play with puppies, and help them understand the importance of food, water, and "pet only" toys.
