Getting a new puppy is a wonderful, but often stressful time. This class is designed to help learners prepare for their new role as owner to a pet! It is fun and interactive, but also teaches students that they need to take their new role very seriously. We will discuss what they can expect from their puppy, the good and the bad! This class is not a dog training class. It is focused on teaching children to be responsible towards puppies, rather than teaching them to train their new pet. We will discuss why it is important to keep floors clean, how to gently play with puppies, and help them understand the importance of food, water, and "pet only" toys.
