Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
In this class, learners will be introduced to life stages of well known aquatic animals. Some animals go through metamorphosis - where a juvenile animal looks very different from its adult version. This class allows learners to identify some aquatic animals, and be able to match their adult and juvenile pictures (PDF file provided). During the lesson, learners will learn a life cycle of a frog - a great example of an aquatic animal that goes through major changes as they grow. They will be able to learn conservation messages in order to help out aquatic animals. Learners will learn key terms such as metamorphosis, life cycle, and aquatic animals. Learners are encouraged to share their knowledge about animals during the interactive class discussion. This class touches on subject matter such as Environmental Education, Conservation, Science, and Mindfulness.

**Please be assured that class will occur even with only 1 learner enrolled.
