Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello everyone! Welcome to Outschool!
My name is Mrs. Wertenberger. I am so excited to meet you!
My passion is teaching and engaging with young learners. I enjoy teaching all topics from science to art, as well as cooking and business education. My classes are a reflection of subjects my children and I have enjoyed learning on our homeschool journey. I want to provide an engaging atmosphere to encourage a love for learning that will last a lifetime!
I have 10+ years of experience as a teacher and tutor. Before that, I spent five years as a commercial produce farmer in the southern United States. My college background is in nursing and food science. I now own and operate a real estate rental business, a licensed dog kennel, and conduct property management.
Teaching is my passion because I can cultivate a love for learning with a positive mindset within my students. We retain the most knowledge when we are fully supported and encouraged. I believe we only accomplish that through passionate teachers!
I live in northwest Montana on a mini-farm in the mountains with my husband, two children, 4 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 horses. I love to cook, draw and explore nature. Life is a grand adventure!
