Welcome Arctic animal explorers! In this class, we will explore an amazing animal that lives in the Arctic.... the polar bear! We will learn fun facts about polar bears, including what they eat and where they live, and some neat things that they can do. We will also have so much fun pretending to be polar bears. Your learner will have a chance to share what they would like to do if they were a polar bear. I truly believe that real learning occurs when children are having fun and playing. That's why my classes are designed to engage your learner through pretend-play! They will have so much fun pretending to be polar bears, they won't even realize they're learning at the same time! This lesson will be taught through a slide-show powerpoint that will include engaging images and interactive videos, to get them up close with our polar bear friends! I can't wait to meet your learner in the classroom and explore polar bears with them. :) No prior experience or knowledge is required for this class.

Hello! Welcome to my Outschool classroom! I LOVE teaching through pretend play. My classes are for young explorers, ages 3-6, and I offer many different types of classes that are taught through fun and interactive adventures. Your little one will have so much fun exploring ABC's, counting, landscapes, and animals, as we go on our various adventures, all while building foundational math, reading, and speaking skills!
I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and I have 8 years of teaching experience. I have experience as a 2nd grade elementary teacher and as an online ESL teacher, to children ages 4 to 12. I also have experience with teaching play-based learning activities to small children, ages 18 months to 5 years old.
I am a mother of three. I have two girls, 13 and 3, and I just recently had my baby boy. I appreciate your support of my classes, as they are what are helping me to be able to stay home with my babies.
I believe that learning should be engaging and fun, all while challenging students to think critically and creatively. I also work hard to build relationships and engage every child that joins my virtual classroom.
