Are you seeking a course that will ensure drawing success and confidence, even for beginners?
Are you looking for an experienced teacher to guide and enable your child through the design process?

Architecture: Home Sweet Home, Part 2: Exterior Design is the right course for you! It is perfect for children, both experienced and beginner aspiring architects. The 40 minute course is meant to be an informal creative exercise for your child where we will collectively design and draw the exterior of a home. Each session will begin with an introduction and check-in. Following the introduction, students will flow through the design process (see class structure below for more details), and lastly we will share-out and discuss. This course is designed to give your child the tools they need to begin their creative journey into architectural thinking and design. 

Class Structure:
0-5 minutes: Introduction and check-in
5-15 minutes: Transfer floor plan into exterior elevation 2D line drawing
15-25 minutes: Create 2D exterior elevation
25-35 minutes: Final details
35-40 minutes: Share-out and discussion

1. 1 Exterior elevation
2. Learn how to transform 2D floorplan into a 2D elevation
