Class experience
In this multi-day class students will have opportunity to learn specifics about 1. Class - Queen Ann House Style - Victorian period 2. Class - Second Empire - Victorian period 3. Class - Tudor Revival - based on English Tudor Houses We will look at different examples of the houses of each style and talk about their characteristics, what influenced their development and how they came to be in US and draw a different house each class. I am a production designer and art director actively working in film and tv industry. I work on Outschool in between the projects when I am taking a break from traveling which is a big part of film work. I have an MFA in Scenic Design from Northwestern University, one of the best programs for design there is. I was lucky enough to be picking where I wanted to go to graduate studies anywhere in the world and I was offered spots at NYU Tisch, CalArts, Northwestern U. and RUFA academy in Rome Italy. I also thought undergraduate scenic design class at Northwestern. If you want your learner to learn from someone who has both industry experience as a professional and education experience this is a great opportunity for your student. My job as a production designer and art director is very diverse from project to project and part of it is definitely dealing with different period architecture and accurate reconstruction of it as well. I do this out of pure love for drawing, architecture history and teaching.
