Ever wonder how architects make those amazing napkin sketches in less than a minute? Learn how to sketch & draw anything (but mostly architecture) quickly and professionally in this fun, hands-on 6 meeting camp. No experience in drawing or sketching needed! Here's what's in store for you: in addition to LOTS of sketching (the world around you, architecture live, from memory and your imagination, people and landscapes), you'll also learn how to render your sketches to make it life-like. We'll always be showing each other our progress and gaining tips and tricks from each other in a fun, collaborative, no-stress way. This course is part 1 of a 3 part series titled "Architecture Career Discovery." Please see my profile for other classes related to this series and various formats the series is offered to be taken in.
Learning Goals
Learners will leave this camp with confidence to draw anything they desire- be it architecture, landscape or object, real or imagined, live or from memory. Getting an idea out of a learner's head and on to paper is one of the most valuable life skills an architect or any creative professional can have!
