US Grade 3 - 6
Students will learn that archaeology is more than just old bones and a map. They will learn that they can be a part of archaeology today, what archaeology means, and how they too can be archaeologists and make a difference. Students will watch videos, learn facts that they can put into action and learn ways that they can be an archaeologist. I love history, and as a child living in England, my family and I would often find old coins in our garden. I have taken Archaeology in college and I have taught this class to homeschool students, who came to love archaeology and asked questions of what they could do to make a difference in the world we live in. My goal in this class is to share with students that they too can be archaeologists in today's world and make a difference.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
