In this ongoing class students will practice reading stories in the Arabic Language.
Class experience
In this ongoing class students will have an opportunity to practice reading at the "automatic reading" level in the Arabic language. We will focus on a new story each week from Levels Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z of the Reading A-Z series. These stories will follow the adventures of children, animals and other fictional and non-fictional characters as they explore the world around them every day. Topics will include, family, home, school, the park, the zoo, friends, pets, the store, etc....
Students will begin reading, develop fluency, gain comprehension and practice beginning writing skills in the Arabic language.
I have completed 15 post secondary credits in the Arabic language at North Central University and The University of Minnesota. I have been teaching basic Arabic reading and writing skills for 10 years . I taught Arabic to children in grades Pre-K through grade 2 at a charter school for four years as well as a private school that I founded for seven years. This is my second year year teaching Arabic on Outschool. I regularly meet with Arabic tutors to increase my skills and knowledge in this subject as well as to gain experience with various spoken dialects. I currently speak and teach Modern Standard Arabic.
