A Weekly Arabic Language Club for Beginners (Sing & Play) In this Arabic Language Club, students will explore and learn the basics of the Arabic language using on screen activities and storyboards. This club will build confidence and will help students become familiar and easily recognize Shapes in Arabic as well as general greetings. What topics are covered? - Greetings in Arabic - Shapes in Arabic How is the class structured? We will start with a circle time followed by lesson objectives. Each week we will learn two shapes in Arabic, we will listen to a song and engage in a group activity, we will use storyboards and some other materials to aid learning. How will the teaching be conducted? Teaching will be on screen, I will share my screen throughout the duration of each class, students will be able to see the lesson objectives and participate in a group activity. This club is aimed at students with no background in Arabic. The lessons are carefully created to make learning and exploring a new language fun and enjoyable. At the start of this club, all students will receive a handout with their names written in Arabic. Week 1 2 shapes (circle & square) Week 2 2 shapes (rectangle & triangle) Week 3 1 shape (star) Week 4 Revision on all the shapes Week 5 Revision on all the shapes.
