Arabic Conversation for Teens - Beginner to Intermediate Level
In this course, we will practice beginner to intermediate Arabic conversation for teens with topics related to subjects such as elementary math, language arts, social studies, science, music, pop culture, food, and art. Content builds.
Class Experience
In this 16-week course, we will practice Arabic conversation in the Levantine dialect. It is not required to know how to read and write in Arabic. Topics covered will vary from week to week, and will usually be focused on vocabulary building in order to facilitate basic conversation. The class will meet for 30 minutes, and will always commence with a short warm up and check in to make sure all students feel comfortable and ready to speak in Arabic. Vocabulary will include a list of food items.Lesson 2Having a Get TogetherThis lesson builds on the previous lesson's vocabulary by having students imagine we are all bringing food to a get-together.
