Class Experience

In this club, students will learn and build their vocabulary through thematic concepts such as the numbers, colors, animals, prepositions, identifying masculine and feminine nouns, constructing sentences using adjectives, members of the family etc. The club also focuses on grammatical structures when formulating sentences.

The class will be structured following a powerpoint presentation which I will send to students after the class for them to review in their own time. I use the 'drilling' technique where we look at, use and practice the vocabulary over and over again in different contexts for the learner to become familiar with the lesson target language and confident using it.

By becoming a regular in the club, students will build their Arabic vocabulary and improve their grammatical awareness and gain confidence using the language.

I look forward to sharing the magic of Arabic with you!

Week 1 - Lesson 1: Students learn to introduce themselves in Arabic and fun facts about Arabic.
Week 1 - Lesson 2: Learning how to identify masculine and feminine nouns and using 'this is' with household items.

Week 2 - Lesson 1: Learning how to use adjectives to describe things and people and learning about Arabic sentence structure.

Marhaban!

I'm so glad you've decided to teach your learner Arabic and I hope I can take part in their language learning journey!

I’ve been privileged to have grown up a bilingual speaker, which has given me a massive appreciation for languages. I’m passionate about bridging the gap between Arabic and English and using my skillset and background to help uncover the beauty of Arabic to those who want to learn it and facilitate their language learning.

My background has given me a unique skillset and personality which has enabled me to experience amazing opportunities, one being working for the UN as a consultant for two years. I’m a firm believer that each language you speak or learn activates a different aspect of your personality and opens unique doors of opportunities and experiences that others might not be exposed to. If you’re thinking about learning a language, go for it! You won’t regret it.

I enjoy seeing my students progress from knowing nothing about Arabic to slowly building their language skills and I would love to join your learner on their language learning journey.

Having lived, studied and worked in Libya, Spain, Switzerland and the UK have peaked my interest in culture, languages and politics. I have a masters degree in International Studies and Diplomacy and I currently work as a content executive in my day job.

I like my lessons to be fun and interactive. I design my classes using different mediums and methods (video, text, puppets etc.) to keep learners engaged and learning with the aim that all my lessons are enjoyable and beneficial at the same time. I like to use creative imagination and story telling whenever possible to help learners grasp different concepts. I’m also a technology enthusiast and love incorporating it in my virtual class whenever I can to make lessons extra appealing to learners.

I hope to see you in class soon!

Shukran!
