In this one time class, the kids will learn about the Appalachian region and its Christmas traditions. I live in Southern Appalachia and have attended different events over the years where I learned about the Christmas traditions of Appalachia. This class is taught in English.
I have taught on Outschool since October 2020. I've also taught elementary school age kids, and I am currently teaching elementary and high school classes with my local homeschool co-op.
Blank map of the United States will be in the classroom so that it can be printed for class. Crayons or colored pencils Small white paper bag
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class will discuss secular Christmas traditions.
