In this four-day camp, we will delve into four top predators. For each predator, we will find out how it survives and thrives in the world. We will take a look at its geographical location and habitats, how and what it hunts, any threats it may face, how it raises young, and everything in between! Students will see photos and videos, learn vocabulary, and discuss the topic with other nature enthusiasts. Participation is encouraged! *Upon enrollment, students can print an "Apex Predator Fact File" to keep track of information about each predator and a coloring page featuring the four animals we covered during the camp. Both are optional! *This camp features lessons from my ongoing class "Animals at the Top of the Food Chain." I follow Outschool's policies for refunds (information in the link below). That means I don't give refunds for classes missed without notice. However, if advanced notice is given I can transfer your student to a different section. You can also pause your subscription. https://support.outschool.com/en/articles/4626920-standard-refund-policy-and-refund-eligibility-guidelines

Teacher expertise and credentials
Minnesota Teaching Certificate in English/Language Arts
Even though I love teaching ELA virtually at a public school and here on Outschool, I also love science and nature! I've researched this topic and feel qualified to share what I've learned with interested students.
