Unit 3 of AP World History covers 1450-1750 European, East Asian, and Gunpowder Empires Expand Administration of Empires Belief Systems Comparison of Empires Students who attend this class will be provided with a content review, practice multiple-choice questions, and a significant amount of resources to read, use, or watch to continue to supplement Unit 3 (based on the College Board curriculum for AP World History.) The first half of the class is presentation format (via shared PowerPoint) and students are encouraged to ask and answer questions. The second half of the class will use Kahoot to allow students to participate in the multiple-choice review. (Kahoot and Nearpod do require access through a browser, however, students only need to enter their first names.) At the end of class, I will share a document that contains a variety of Unit 3 review materials. Please note, that there is a minimum enrollment of 3 learners for the class to be held. Be sure to recommend it to your friends!
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of Unit 3 of AP World History (Land Based Empires).
Students will identify key events and locations relating to empires during the time period 1450-1750.
Students will define key terms.
