-What Will Be Taught for AP Spanish Language? In our "AP Spanish Language: Personalized 1-on-1 Tutoring Mastery" course, students are meticulously prepared for the College Board's AP Spanish Language and Culture exam. The experienced tutors at Habla Hogar, including native speakers and AP readers (teachers who grade the AP exam), provide immersive speaking and writing practices to enhance students' abilities to excel in the four free-response prompts. Learners will analyze authentic audio sources and read genuine articles to prepare for oral presentations, develop written interpersonal communication (e-mail) exercises, write full persuasive essays, practice simulated conversations, and perform cultural comparisons between the United States and Spanish-speaking communities. - What Topics Will Be Covered? Each class will focus on grammar in context, along with any of the following four parts of the AP Spanish Language exam: 📞 Speaking prompts for the simulated conversation. 🌍 Cultural prompts for the 2-minute comparison presentation. ✉️ Writing a formal email. 📝 Writing a persuasive essay. - Class Structure: The class structure is designed to build on the student's existing knowledge through active practice. Each personalized 1-on-1 session covers a specific topic, followed by practical exercises related to that topic. Students can choose the topic or skill they wish to practice, or our tutors can provide a carefully tailored plan to ensure success on AP exam day. - Resources We utilize a variety of practice materials found on the College Board website. During our class, learners will speak or write to review and improve their skills and complete each task successfully. - Teaching Style The teaching style at Habla Hogar focuses on practice and review, ensuring learners gain confidence in each task. Each learner's skill level is assessed to provide tailored guidance. With patience, a wealth of resources, and ample practice, learners will see significant improvement in their AP Spanish Language skills. - Required Experience or Knowledge Learners should ideally have an intermediate to advanced level of Spanish proficiency before taking this course. This includes a solid understanding of Spanish grammar and vocabulary, as well as some experience in reading and interpreting Spanish texts. Heritage speakers with a strong command of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure are also welcome. The most important requirement is a willingness to learn and actively participate in class activities. 👉🗓️🕑 IF YOU DO NOT SEE A TIME AVAILABLE TO FIT YOUR SCHEDULE, SEND ME A MESSAGE AND I'LL TRY TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR REQUEST. 🗓️🕑👈 💃🕺Get $10 off my class with coupon code HOGAR202510💃🕺 Our teachers: 🎒Profe Roncancio: A native Spanish speaker from Colombia, Profe Roncancio brings the vibrant culture of Latin America into every lesson.
