From the College Board: In AP Psychology You will Explore the ideas, theories, and methods of the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. You’ll examine the concepts of psychology through reading and discussion and you’ll analyze data from psychological research studies. Each week we will have a lecture and discussion covering the core content of the week and then utilize group discussions, quizzes, and projects to explore the concepts further. - Students will be prepared to excel and pass the AP Psychology exam
The instructor for the course has their Doctorate of Philosophy with Distinction in Empirical Political Theory from Howard University. They were a Fulbright Hayes Scholar, have taught at the collegiate level and have multiple published books.
