Advanced Level
In this course, we will closely follow the AP physics C: mechanics course description, as outlined in the syllabus/learning goals. Content will be delivered in two modes: 1) Readings which will introduce definitions/physical laws 2) Detailed videos breaking down the application of those definitions/laws, with an emphasis on AP style problems. To make the most of this course, the expectation is that students cover the reading before watching associated videos - the aim of each video is to build students' understanding of problem solving processes, not to define concepts. At the end of each unit, students will have access to an optional quiz to assess mastery. In addition to content videos, I will be highly responsive to student questions via Outschool messaging.
Learning Goals
1.A: Create diagrams, tables, charts, or schematics to represent physical situations.
1.B: Create quantitative graphs with appropriate scales and units, including plotting data.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology
I graduated from MIT in 2019 with a Bachelor's in physics. While at MIT, I TA'd freshman physics. I then spent a year in physics curriculum development at Success Academy, where I worked on developing honors physics and AP physics curricula. I then transitioned in 2021 to tutoring full-time - in the past 3 years, I've worked with dozens of students on AP physics C, with excellent results.
