Beginner - Advanced Level
In this personalized class, students can bring any challenges they’re facing in AP Macroeconomics for expert guidance and support. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the learner, ensuring a targeted and effective learning experience. I will tutor on the following topics: 1. Basic Economic Concepts including: PPC Graphs, Comparative Advantage Calculations, and Supply and Demand. 2. Economic Indicators and the Business Cycle: Measuring Real and Nominal GDP, Calculating Unemployment, Consumer Price Index Calculations, and the Business Cycle. 3. National Income and Price Determination: Multipliers, Fiscal Policy, Automatic Stabilizers, Long-Run Self Adjustment, Graphing Aggregate Demand, Short-Run Aggregate Supply and Long-Run aggregate supply. 4. Financial Sector: Financial Assets, the Money Market, Banking and the Expansion of the Money Supply, Nominal and Real Interest Rates, the Fed and Monetary Policy, and the Loanable Funds Market. 5. Long-Run Consequences of Stabilization Policies: The Phillips Curve, Inflation, Government Deficits, Crowding Out, the Foreign Exchange Market, and Exchange Rates. With plenty of opportunity for direct interaction, students can ask questions, clarify doubts, and work through problems in real-time. My goal is to make AP Macroeconomics approachable and help students build the confidence to succeed!
Learning Goals
Students will cultivate their understanding of the principles that apply to an economic system with graphs, charts, and data as they explore concepts like economic measurements, markets, macroeconomic models, and macroeconomic policies.
