Students will learn how to analyze documents and write an essay to the specifications of the College Board - AP World History exam (and rubric)
I have four (+) years experience teaching AP World History in high school, as well as over fifteen years teaching high school World History (regular and honors.)
Homework Offered
Students will be asked to practice the skills covered, ranging from studying the rubric, analyzing documents, and writing/grading portions of the essay. For maximum benefit, it is strongly recommended that students plan on writing at least one full AP DBQ essay.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
The final essay will be graded based on the DBQ rubric for the AP World History and AP US History exam.Grades Offered
Students will need pen and paper
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
All content is age appropriate and mirrors the standards listed in the AP World History curriculum.
