Tutoring sessions will be dedicated to the AP Computer Science® Curriculum as outlined by the College Board®. These sessions are ideally suited for learners currently enrolled in the AP Computer Science Principles® (CSP) course, seeking supplementary support to enhance their comprehension of course material, improve their academic performance, or prepare diligently for the Performance Task and the final Exam. The content of each tutoring session will be tailored to the specific needs and preferences of the student. To optimize the effectiveness of these sessions, it is encouraged that students provide their preferred topics or assignments for review at least 24 hours in advance. Should this not be feasible, rest assured that I will exert my best efforts to promptly grasp the individual requirements of the learner, ensuring that the session is as productive as possible. My tutoring services encompass a wide array of assistance, including but not limited to homework guidance, coding project support, comprehensive test preparation, and addressing any areas in the curriculum where the learner might encounter challenges. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or require further clarification. Should you desire a one-hour session, please check out my "AP Computer Science Principles® Tutoring (60 Min) class".
Learning Goals
I am committed to helping students grasp the nuances of the AP Computer Science Principles® (CSP) curriculum. My approach is geared specifically towards fostering self-reliance in students by guiding them to solutions rather than simply offering answers. I aim to equip students with the skills needed to learn and understand the material independently, ensuring their success in the AP CSP course.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Florida Teaching Certificate
Master's Degree in Education from University of Florida
My academic background includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Florida, along with a recently acquired Cyber Security Certification from St. Pete College. I currently hold a Florida Professional K-12 Computer Science license.
My teaching journey spans over two decades, during which I have dedicated the last five years to teaching and tutoring AP Computer Science Principles®. Notably, 90% of my AP students have achieved scores of 3 or higher on the AP Exam, with many attaining 5’s and even one student earning a perfect score! In the previous academic year, I undertook the challenge of assisting students who were struggling in their AP CSP course, on the verge of dropping it. I am delighted to report that, through regular tutoring support and guidance, these students not only successfully passed the class, but went into the exam more confident and prepared!
