Lesson 1:
Atomic Structure, Periodic Trends & Bonding
 We will look at key concepts: electronegativity, ionization energy, electronic configuration
We'll practice questions about: electronic configuration, ground state vs. excited state, electron and molecular geometry, bonding and trends

Stoichiometry and Reactions
 We will look at key concepts: stoichiometry, conservation of matter, limiting and excess reagents, yield calculations
We'll practice questions about: reaction balancing, percent yield, reaction types

Lesson 3:
Enthalpy, Entropy & Gibs Free Energy
 We will look at key concepts: ∆H, ∆S, ∆G, spontaneous and non-spontaneous processes, exothermic, endothermic, exergonic, endergonic
We'll practice questions about: changes of enthalpy and entropy in a reaction, Hess's law problems, changes in temperature of a reaction

Kinetics & Reaction Mechanisms
 We will look at key concepts: rate law, rate constant, reaction order, rate-limiting step
We'll practice questions about: determining the order of a reaction, overall and with respect to reactants, calculating rate constants

Other Details

Pre-Requisites
Students must have knowledge in general chemistry, preferably be enrolled in or have interest in taking AP Chemistry, and have a good grasp of algebra I and algebra II concepts.
Supply List
Students should come prepared with:
-The scientific/graphing calculator(s) they intend to use during their Exam.
-A printable version of the Official AP Chemistry Periodic Table and Equations and Constants sheet. This can be found in the official College Board website. The teacher will also provide a printable version for the students to use.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
