This review course offers 8 classes that will each be 1.5 hours in length, totaling 12 live instructional hours. Each class reviews 1 of the 8 total AP Biology units from the College Board AP Biology Curriculum. These sessions work great as refreshers before a class exam or the AP Biology test!

Each class meeting will review the major concepts and key vocabulary terms from one of the eight AP biology units. The units are presented in the same order as College Board lists them in the course. Topics will be presented via a PowerPoint in class, and helpful videos from YouTube will be embedded into the presentation when appropriate to help illustrate complex concepts.

Students will receive:

🧬A guided note packet that will be sent out 24 hours prior to the start of the class that students can fill out throughout the lesson and can use as a study resource after.

🧬Access to an exclusive Quizizz quiz to test their knowledge of the unit. Some questions will be formatted similarly to College Board's style of questions to help students gain extra practice for the AP exam. Students receive instant feedback after completion of the quiz and can review their answers and view a detailed explanation of the correct answer.

🧬Access to a Quizlet vocabulary deck for each of the units. All 8 decks total 472 vocabulary terms, which students can use to familiarize themselves with the terms that often appear on the exams. Quizlet is a free app that offers several different game types to engage learners and help them retain vocabulary. The app also remembers the words that are missed most often and will cycle these words through more often.


AP Biologists can sign up for the entire course or choose to pay weekly. Partial refunds are available if learners are unable to attend the entire course and will be pro-rated via the Outschool platform based on the number of sessions the learner has attended.
