This ongoing class will cover EVERYTHING your learner needs to know before Kindergarten! 🟣 Although, we will highlight two numbers and two letters per week in this class, we also review other letters, sounds, numbers, and math skills each week! 🟣 Your child will be exposed to the entire alphabet and corresponding sounds and numbers 1-20 each week. Welcome! I'm Catherine Westbrooks. I have my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Concordia University Texas. I am certified in Early Childhood-6th grade (all subject areas), Special Education (K-12), and ESL (English as a Second Language) (K-12).
I have been a public school teacher for the last 5 years. I have taught 4th grade Language Arts, 2nd grade (all subject areas), and was most recently a Special Education teacher working primarily with students who struggle with behavior and social skills. I have taught Pre-K ESL Summer Camp the last 3 summers, working with 4-5 year olds with varying levels of English proficiency. I started my online teaching journey teaching ESL online for over a year. I have been an Outschool teacher since April 2020. I have been teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten on Outschool since October 2020 and absolutely love teaching these little ones each day! :)
