Class Experience

In this class, I will introduce students to the field of anthropology and train them to think like anthropologists. We will focus on the subfield of cultural anthropology while applying what we learn to school settings. Students will investigate their own school settings and describe the symbols, traditions, and rituals they uncover. After taking this course, students will have a deeper appreciation of how people transmit culture and values to new generations.
