Description

Class Experience

It is recommended that students have completed Ann Ale Haitian Creole Level 1 before enrolling in this course. This is an interactive online course that encourages student participation. Students will learn through question and answer discussions, music and online learning games. 

Week 1: Nimewo yo. Students will learn how to pronounce the teens, twenties, then hundreds, thousands and beyond.

Week 2: Kote w prale? Students will learn all about different means of transportation in Haitian...

Students will learn useful basic Haitian Creole words and phrases.

Short writing and memorization activities will occasionally be assigned to students. The activities should take no longer than 10 to 15 minutes to complete each week.

Students will need the following items: A lined notebook, pencils/pens, markers/colored pencils and construction paper.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
