How did it get so popular and how can you successfully give your character some intricate and appropriate eyes? Join Mrs. V in this four-week course as we start with a short discussion on the history of the ever so popular anime eyes and learn how to draw them! We will learn how to draw different styles, techniques, approaches, angles, measuring tips, emotions and more! We will learn basic drawing principles. We will NOT draw the full head/face. We will primarily only focus on the eyes. Students are welcome to add the full face/head for homework on their own. Art experience is not necessary but helpful. This class will be presented via Keynote and is an art based class. This is a SELF PACED class and is PRE-RECORDED. This means students will watch the pre-recorded video. Students will engage in questions, class discussions, and art assignments. There will be optional homework. Students will be encouraged to share their artwork. Why SELF PACED? 🔰 Self paced classes are fantastic for international students (Mrs. V is located in Texas). 🔰 Students can work at their own pace. No need to wait on others or feel rushed. 🔰 Self paced classes are an excellent choice for families with busy schedules. 🔰 This class is a "self paced" class, meaning there is no live component, and all interactions between students and the teacher happens on the class page. SELF PACED FORMAT: 🔹 Video Content: Weekly videos with a step-by-step breakdown of the art assignments are posted. Some videos will have a 15 to 20 minute duration. The work time for the student will be roughly an hour long. Students will review the video. 🔹 Discussion Prompt/Question/Check-in: Students respond to a weekly discussion prompt and/or question(s) posted by the teacher. 🔹 Complete Artwork: Students spend time completing their sketches. 🔹 Submit Artwork: Students are required to post photos of their completed sketches in the classroom on the designated post. Keep in mind, sharing artwork is essential in a self paced class. 🔹 Feedback: Individualized feedback will not be given unless directly requested.
