Description

Class Experience

To be able to understand, measure, and properly proportioned anime eyes. Students will also gain the knowledge of how to draw their own anime eyes. Students will understand how to manipulate the eyes for certain expressions.
I conduct the Studio Ghibli Series on Outschool. I am a huge Hayao Miyazaki fan and have been studying his work for a number of years. I have been a personal fan for over 25 years. My classes focus on Hayao Miyazaki himself and I conduct lecture courses on other Studio Ghibli films (ex. Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo, Princess Mononoke).
I also conduct over ten different types of anime drawing courses.
My art teaching practices focus on art, anime and Studio Ghibli.
Students will have homework for the first week, which will be to repeat the drawing practice three times. This should take about half an hour to an hour outside of the classroom. Other homework practices for the other three weeks will be given as well.
Materials Needed: -Pencil -Eraser (Vinyl recommended) -Fine-tip Pen -Sharpener -Paper/Sketchpad -Color Pencils/Pen (optional) -Ruler (optional)
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
