Description
Class Experience
I conduct the Studio Ghibli series on Outschool. I am a huge Hayao Miyazaki fan and have been studying his work for a number of years. I have been a personal fan for over 25 years. My classes focus on Hayao Miyazaki himself and I conduct lecture courses on other Studio Ghibli films (ex. Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo, Princess Mononoke). My art teaching practices focus on art, anime and Studio Ghibli.
Students will have homework for the first week, which will be to repeat the drawing practice three times. This should take about half an hour to an hour outside of the classroom.
Materials Needed: -Pencil -Eraser (Vinyl recommended) -Fine-tip Pen (Micron and Sharpie recommended) -Sharpener -Paper/Sketchpad -Color Pencils/Pen (optional) -Ruler (optional)
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
