In this ongoing beginner's Anime drawing class, students will learn the basics of drawing/sketching different Anime girls. Proportion makes it very easy to get the different dimensions of any drawing. The students will learn how to use proportions to achieve the perfect drawing of a different Anime girl each week. We will pay particular attention to all the details on the face like: the eyes, the hair, the mouth and the nose. When we draw the full body we will also pay particular attention to other parts of the body like: the arms, the hands, the legs and the feets. So this class is not just about drawing a full body Anime girl but students will also learn the importance of proportions in drawing. I encourage creativity alot in all my classes. Students can add their own twist to their drawing to make it unique to them. This class is beginner friendly so no previous experience is required. However, experienced artists are welcome. My teaching style is fun and encouraging. Outline for the first 6 weeks include: 1. Week of 29th of May 2022 Drawing of Yashiro Important Note: The type of Anime girl we will draw in subsequent classes is subject to change based on the choice of the students. 2. Week of 5th of June, 2022 Drawing a full body Anime girl with short hair. 3. Week of 12th of June, 2022 Drawing of a girl with different outfits. 4. Week of 19th of June, 2022 Drawing the portrait of an Anime girl 5. Week of 26th of June, 2022 Drawing of a girl with a pose 6. Supply List
Students will need a drawing paper, a ruler, a pencil, a good eraser and a sharpener. Students could also come with their colored pencils or anything to color with.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
