Artists draw their own anime character and then bring it to life using makeup application!
Class experience
In this two part class, learners will draw an anime character and then become their character using makeup artistry! Part 1: Drawing & Facechart Sketches Learners will brainstorm to visualize their characters. Students are encouraged to bring reference pictures for inspiration. Once they have a good vision for their character, they will translate their sketch to a facechart. Facecharts are a tool used by makeup artists to plan and design their looks. By the end of this class students will have completed their own anime makeup look inspired by their own drawings.
Homework Offered

A suggested supply list is included in the welcome packet. Additionally, students will require a clean, well lit, prepared space to create their looks.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Please exercise safety and supervision. Please be aware that any time anything is applied to the skin there is a risk of a reaction. Please be aware of possible allergic reactions. Anime looks do not generally include SFX gore effects, however students are encouraged to embrace their creativity. As such, SFX looks are permissible, please message us in advance if you would like us to request NO SFX looks.
