New to Outschool? Feel free to use this referral code for $20 off your first class: MrsVall2020 Or use this link: https://outschool.com/?couponCode=MrsVall2020 In this 8-week course, students focus on how to draw an anime body. This is broken down into different categories such as feet, hands, arms, legs, torso, angles, movement, and more! Students will leave this class confident that they can create their own anime character. Students will not learn a particular style of anime, instead will be exposed to multiple sources. Students should expect to draw multiple sketches within a session. This class is designed for the anime fan who wants to take their drawings to the next level. Art experience is not necessary but helpful. This class will be presented via Keynote and is an art based class. This is a SELF PACED class and is PRE-RECORDED. This means students will watch the pre-recorded video. Students will engage in questions, class discussions, and art assignments. There will be optional homework. Students will be encouraged to share their artwork. Why SELF PACED? 🔰 Self paced classes are fantastic for international students (Mrs. V is located in Texas). 🔰 Students can work at their own pace. No need to wait on others or feel rushed. 🔰 Self paced classes are an excellent choice for families with busy schedules. 🔰 This class is a "self paced" class, meaning there is no live component, and all interactions between students and the teacher happens on the class page. SELF PACED FORMAT: 🔹 Video Content: Weekly videos with a step-by-step breakdown of the art assignments are posted. Some videos will have a 15 to 20 minute duration. The work time for the student will be roughly an hour long. Students will review the video. 🔹 Discussion Prompt/Question/Check-in: Students respond to a weekly discussion prompt and/or question(s) posted by the teacher. 🔹 Complete Artwork: Students spend time completing their sketches. 🔹 Submit Artwork: Students are required to post photos of their completed sketches in the classroom on the designated post. Keep in mind, sharing artwork is essential in a self paced class. 🔹 Feedback: Individualized feedback will not be given unless directly requested.

FOR MATURE STUDENTS ONLY. This is a class focusing on the human anatomy. The older age group is recommended due to the fact that students are drawing the human form. Nothing explicit or genitalia is drawn. Mrs. V is very sensitive to language and will use words such as "bust", "glutes", and "pelvic region". Students may add clothing on their characters for homework. Per parent request, Mrs. V can send drawing examples of the class.
