This class is designed for students who would like private one-on-one time. Students can dictate the pace, topic and conversation for this private session. Student topics can include but not limited to; focusing on a certain facial feature, a particular body part, a specific anime style, their favorite anime character and more! This class is crafted for someone who already knows a specific topic or area they want to focus on. 

How do private lessons work? Here are the steps to be taken:
1.) Contact Mrs. Vallarta to schedule a private session (30 or 45 minute sessions). 
2.) Send the images of what students would like to focus on (or specify the anime/manga, character, and the type of profile that we will be working on). 
3.) Send questions before the session. 
4.) Mrs. V will confirm the session. 
5.) Meet with Mrs. Vallarta. Mrs. V will project your work with a shared screen and specify which areas to work on. OR, Mrs. V will have a Keynote set up and go over step-by-step of the requested topic. 

It is important to send the artwork or topic at least 48 hours BEFORE the session. Why? That way, your student can get the most out of the session. There is a great amount of anime out there, and Mrs. V has not watched everything. Thorough research is needed and if it's for a specific anime, the design is done before class. Mrs. V does not draw in real time. The drawings are done before hand so the attention can be focused on the student. If there is a topic out of Mrs. V realm of expertise (example: the mecha genre), Mrs. V will be explain the situation and offer a full refund. 

All classes will be with paper, pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener and pen unless requested otherwise beforehand. Students can use their tablet. Watercolor projects need at least a five day notification. 

How much are sessions?
30 minutes: $37
45 minutes: $53
If Mrs. V feels that extra time is needed for the requested time, Mrs. V will reach out. 

This class will be presented via Keynote/screen share and is an art based class. This is a LIVE class and is NOT pre-recorded. This is so the students can interact with the teacher and ask questions during instruction. Some homework may be necessary so students can finish their assignment. No writing or independent reading is necessary. Some artistic background is helpful, but not necessary.
