This is a class for children who want to learn about animation and design their own characters for animation. We will start from the ground up starting with talking about what makes a great character. We will also talk about our own favorite characters and why we enjoy them. We will go over many of the basics of character design and fundamental concepts of character construction. In this class children will have the opportunity to design their own character and bring them to life. We will look at references from popular shows and films and discuss them. Children will be able to see my screen and watch me draw in real time and follow along and create their own drawings throughout the class. Animation is an amazing art form and learning to make dynamic characters is a great place to start. I hope you’ll join us!

Taking it for a spin
This week we will focus on how to draw characters from different angles. 55 mins online live lesson

Bust A Move

I strongly recommend a drawing tablet with a drawing or animation app like Procreate.
