Animals That Were Scarier Than Dinosaurs!

Is your child a dinosaur enthusiast? Are they always looking for more to learn about the age of the dinosaurs? Then this class is for them!  

After greeting each other  we will engage in a lively discussion about the scariest/top predator dinosaurs and animals that may have been scarier.

Topics covered include; timeline of dinosaurs. What does the words dinosaur mean and why many are considered carnivorous .We will analyze their physical characteristics and their habitats. We will learn many facts about each creature, such as size, time they lived, and what makes them unique and interesting! 

My Teaching ~
My teaching style is discussion-based and very interactive. Although I use slides to present material, I will not be reading a presentation to them. Students will have many chances to both ask and answer questions, and to share their thoughts. I normally encourage everyone to contribute to the discussion, but please let me know if you’d prefer that I don’t call on your learner (if they don’t volunteer.) I understand that some students are nervous about speaking in class, and want everyone to feel comfortable! 

Note: Open to teaching one or two learners but will check with parents if they will want to proceed or move to a different section with more learners.
No prior knowledge necessary.
