Let’s learn Italian while making crafts! In this one time project based language class, students will learn farm animals in Italian while making a craft! Students will learn the animals: cow, chicken, pig, and sheep. They will also learn the word farm. We will work on the names of these animals while coloring and making the art project. I will be speaking both Italian and English in class, but will say our target vocabulary words only in Italian. Upon enrollment, students will receive a file with the farm animals and the farm. I ask if parents can please cut the pieces out before class. During our class students will color and glue the pieces of the craft to a separate paper. MATERIALS NEEDED. - Printable file given upon enrollment (Please cut the pieces out before class if possible) - A separate paper of any color to glue each piece onto - Something to color with - Glue or tape CLASS STRUCTURE: - Between 5-8 minutes of introductions, practicing introducing ourselves in Italian, play a vocabulary game with some of our new words. - The remaining portion of class will alternate between learning the new word, and coloring + gluing the target word/piece onto the paper. - If extra time remains we will play a review game. The aim of this class is to learn a new language in a relaxed and playful environment. My classes are focused on learning while having fun. This is a beginner class, so no prior knowledge of the Italian language is needed. I hope to see your child in class! MY POLICIES: **I follow Outschool policy for refunds, no-shows, and transfers. I will give a refund or transfer your learner if I am given notice 24 hours before class starts. **If no learners are present after 10 minutes, the class is considered a "no show". This rarely happens, but if it does, students will receive a recorded video of the craft so that they can complete it at home. **Parents must stay off camera during class. **Siblings or learners in the same household are welcome to share devices, but each learner must be enrolled. **Learners must turn the camera on at the beginning of class so they can be verified by the teacher.
